The true story of flesh and blood individuals laid to rest in the tobacco fields of Erie County or floating down the Niagara river. Extraordinary things for ordinary folks to do, in a quite ordinary way?

In this, his sixth book, novelist, poet and former singer, Ricky Dale, surpasses all mainstream stick-in-the-mud writing by taking the reader to where they ‘haven’t been’ a thousand times before.

From day one its delights are entwined and bursting at the seams, ready to amuse your senses and captivate your heart.

Conversation with the author

When asked whether particular authors have inspired him Ricky replies unequivocally ” no “. Although he prefers to remain objective ,he mentions Carson McCullers – Harper Lee – Margaret Mitchell – Grace Metalious as writers not inclined to ” showboating “.

A once popular singer ,he says the most visible and remarked upon aspect was fan support .

” Now I really want to make a serious connection with readers . . . if you write what they dig ,they’ll dig what you do ! “

“I knew the bride when she used to rock n roll” is based on true life events. An original work, though it isn’t the ‘scariest’ ghost story ever told, but it’s one with a difference.
